Today I am going to tell you about a book called A Series of Unfortunate Events it is really a good book and the author name is Lemony Snicket it is not his real name but his pen name.The book is about the Baudelaire children going to a beach called Briny when they get a visit from their relative called Arthur who tells them that their parents are dead in a terrible fire.The children names are Violet, Klaus and Sunny their lives change dramatically as they are forced to live with their distant relative Count Olaf. He is a horrible person because he won't let the children have fair conditions and won't let them have their own beds.
When the Baudelaire children live with Count Olaf they discover he is horrible and mean and that he has no good part of him. They also find out that Count Olaf is trying to get Violets inheritance money and makes a devious plan that will shock the Baudelaire children and the only person who try's to protect Violet and Sunny is Klaus who finds out Count Olaf's plan. Their only friend is Justice Strauss who is a lovely lady and helps them when they are troubled by Count Olaf. She is also a judge and her role in Count Olaf's plan is very important.
The book fits the genre of mystery because much of the book is very mysterious and the character's background is unknown like Count Olaf and Justice Strauss.
Also the children is trying to find out Count Olaf's plan for stealing Violet's inheritance but doesn't know his plan yet so the book also fits the genre of mystery very well don't you think so too?
I would rate this book 5 stars because it was very exciting and has a lot of drama so it is really intense the story and plot is excellent and you won't find a book better than this except your favorites so it is a pretty good choice for reading this at your lazy Sunday time when you have nothing to do.
And the best part of this book is that the book keeps on going until the 13 book so the plot get's much darker and exciting.
